HOSA

Eligibility Requirements:
The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compasionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadershi development of all health science education students, therefore, helping the student meet the needs of the health care community.

Time Commitment:
HOSA typically meets every other Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. During competition time, students may need to meet more frequently to adequately preare and test.

Procedures for Joining:
Students can contact the advisor (Mrs. Schafter) in person or via email at any point to join. There is a small membership fee to join the state and National HOSA organization.

Activity Time Period:
HOSA is a year-round club, beginning in August and ending in May.

Membership Limit:
HOSA is open to any high school student interested in pursuing a career in the health care field.

Location of Meetings:
HOSA meetings will be held in the Medical Related Careers I classroom (Room E107)
